Biography
Glen Ryniewski is an instructor in the School of Hospitality Leadership and works full-time with the City of Chicago’s Department of Aviation as the assistant commissioner of concessions for O’Hare and Midway International airports, managing a $600 million annual sales program. He previously worked for the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, the Chicago Park District as the director of lakefront operations and within the advertising, publishing and real estate industries.
Additionally, he recently served as a part-time White House advance associate, supporting the trips of the president, vice president, and first and second ladies of the United States on national and international official visits.
He has a bachelor's degree from North Park University and a master's degree in marketing from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Ryniewski is also an Illinois-licensed CPA.
