Chief Executive Officer Cornerstone Health Care Dr. Grace Terrell is a general internist and chief executive officer of Cornerstone Health Care. Born in Siler City, North Carolina, she received her B.A. in English and Religion from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983, where she was a Morehead Scholar. Dr. Terrell has served, and currently serves, on many community boards and organizations including the AMA Innovation Committee, Abuse Task Force, the Cornerstone Foundation and dozens of others. She is a commissioner for the Certifying Commission of Health Information Technology, a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives. Hers was the first practice in North Carolina to achieve NCQA level 3 Physician Practice Connection Recognition. She is the co-author of MD 2.0: Physician Leadership for the Information Age.
