Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership

Hannah leads Yorkshire Water’s work on sustainable accounting: developing approaches to natural, social and human capital assessments, and embedding sustainable accounting principles throughout the business. She also serves on BSI’s expert committee for the new ISO14007: Determining Environmental Costs and Benefits – recently acting as UK delegate to the international working group.

Prior to joining Yorkshire Water, Hannah was a sustainability consultant with AECOM, specialising in energy efficient design in the built environment and district heating feasibility studies for local authorities. She has a PhD in Low Carbon Technologies from the University of Leeds, during which she was seconded to the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology as an EPSRC Research Fellow.
