Haohsuan Chiu

With more than 18 years of user experience design practice in various industries, including products and services, Haohsuan (Sean) Chiu is Senior Lecturer & Consultant, Digital Innovation & Design at the National University of Singapore.

His professional path also included being Head of UX Design at Lazada and Design Director of Alibaba Corporate before joining NUS-ISS.

As Head of UX design in Lazada, Sean brought his e-commerce design experience to South East Asia market and conducted various user researches on globa-localization design, with cross-border projects to adapt the culture.

At Alibaba Group, he has been contributing his expertise in user research, service design, creative design, product design and leading many product design projects in different business units.His focus of work includes user research, service design, interaction design, product design, design thinking for design culture codification, and design measurement.

He has built up strong knowledge on the application for UX design by delivering numerous products and projects and making a great impact on the market.
