Rotman School of Management
Heather-Anne Irwin is an Adjunct Professor. She is the Executive Director of the Canadian Securities Institute Research Foundation and founding President of Women in Capital Markets. Heather-Anne teaches MBA Finance courses - with the prospective from having been involved in the capital markets industry for 17 years, as an Investment Banker (both finance and M&A), New Issue Equity specialist (ECM) and Fixed Income specialist (DCM). The emphasis in her courses is on applying theory to practical situations by using actual transactions and what is currently happening in today''s capital markets.

Heather-Anne Irwin is an Assistant Professor and a member of the Teaching Stream Faculty. Her teaching focuses on MBA Finance courses - with the perspective of having been involved in the capital markets industry for 16 years as an Investment Banker (both finance and M&A), New Issue Equity Specialist and Bond Trader. The emphasis in her courses is on applying theory to practical situations by using actual transactions and what is currently happening in today's market.
