Heikki Marjosola

Heikki Marjosola LL.D., B.Soc.Sc. is Assistant Professor of Financial Law, University of Helsinki. His current research interests relate to digital finance and financial innovation, EU securities law and regulatory governance of the EU financial markets. Heikki’s key areas of expertise include financial law and regulation, financial markets, securities law, company law, and EU law. Previously, he held a position of assistant professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science for two years. Before his academic career, Heikki worked as a capital markets and M&A lawyer in a Helsinki-based law firm. He regularly acts as an independent advisor in matters relating to banking and finance as well as EU law
