ESADE Business School

CEO and co-founder of HUSK, a social business committed to supporting rural communities to become more climate-resilient. HUSK's mission is to improve livelihoods by transforming rice husk into biochar to combat soil degradation, boost yields, and sequester carbon. Heloise is passionate about getting carbon back into the soil, where it belongs.

Heloise has 20 years of experience as a social entrepreneur, trainer, and consultant in social innovation and sustainability. She has led teams and delivered projects in 12 countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia for development agencies, social enterprises, universities, and civil society organizations. She is an associate professor at ESADE Business School and the author of several publications on social innovation.
