A new leader for the CMS Hotel & Leisure Group: Dr Hermann Stapenhorst, Partner at CMS Hasche Sigle, shall take over the chair of the CMS-Sector Group that specialises in the hotel and tourism industry.

The CMS Hotel & Leisure Group bundles the cross-border and cross-departmental expertise of all member firms of the European-wide CMS organisation. The group regularly and comprehensively advises seven of the ten largest hotel groups in Europe. CMS leads the rankings of "mergermarket" information service for legal advisers in the hotel and tourism sector (no. 1 in number of clients / no. 2 in transaction volume).

Dr Stapenhorst will take over the helm at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF, March 9-11 2009, in Berlin). He succeeds Charles Romney, Partner at CMS Cameron McKenna LLP, who led the CMS Hotel & Leisure Group for eight years.
