Biography

Professor Hsiao-Hui Lee is a Professor in the department of Management Information Systems at the National Chengchi University. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Simon School at Rochester University, where she examined issues in service and healthcare areas using stochastic models. Prior to joining NCCU, she has held appointments at University of Connecticut and University of Hong Kong. In particular, she was tenured at University of Hong Kong and promoted to associate professor in 2016 and appointed as the program director of Master of Science in Business Analytics for the first cohort in 2017-2018.

Her current research interests switched to empirical operations management in the context of supply chains, innovation, and corporate social responsibility. Her work has been published on leading journals, such as Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Information Systems Research, Review of Economics and Statistics, among others. She is also the recipient of numerous prestigious competitive research grants, including from the University Grants Commission in Hong Kong and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Taiwan. She is also the recipient of Yushan Young Scholar in 2019.
