Dr Gan manages a wide range of heart diseases and cardiovascular-related illnesses such as dyslipidaemia, resistance hypertension and diabetes mellitus. He is also an American College of Sports Medicine certified Clinical Exercise Specialist, who is able to counsel and give exercise prescription according to patient’s heart condition. His specific interest is in Interventional Cardiology, especially in Transradial Intervention.

Prior to joining Gleneagles Medical Centre Penang, Dr Gan worked as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Changi General Hospital, Singapore and as a Visiting Specialist with National Heart Centre of Singapore.

He was also the Adjunct Assistant Prof in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and a Core Faculty Member of Singhealth Residency Program.
