Profile
Ingo Kleindienst is Professor of Strategic Management and International Business. His main research interests are strategy and international management with a focus on growth strategies, portfolio changes, and corporate performance as well as corporate governance and strategy process with a focus on upper echelons, CEO succession, and managerial psychology. His research has been published in journals such as International Journal of Management Reviews, Journal of International Management, Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Managerial and Decision Economics, and Multinational Business Review.
Prior to his academic career he worked as a management consultant for various large German corporations on issues such as strategic planning, corporate reporting, and customer profitability.
Ingo Kleindienst teaches strategic management and international business within the MBA, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science programs. Prior to joining Aarhus University, he was Assistant Professor of Strategy Processes at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.

Supervision of Master- and Bachelor thesis
- I supervise thesis in the the MBA, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science programs. Past theses have -- amongst others -- dealt with topics/issues such as internationalization, market entry strategy, cultural and institutional distance, business models, competitive advantage, balanced scorecard, competitive counter-action, and strategic change and renewal.
