Biography

I conduct research on the intersecting fields of international business, innovation studies and international development. My regions of interest are sub-Saharan Africa and South East Asia, with focus on domestic, multinational and/or social enterprises in these regions. I am interested in both firm strategies and macro-level economic development issues, all with the aim of informing policy-makers and enterprises located in developing countries. Some of my current research projects are on (i) value creation in social enterprises and (ii) domestic vs multinational enterprises regarding sustainability; IR 4.0 capabilities; global value chains and knowledge creation.
