Biography

Georgia Tech Professional Education

Mr. Howry is a Principal Research Associate with the Georgia Tech Research Institute, the applied research arm of the Georgia Institute of Technology. As a part of the research faculty at Georgia Tech, Mr. Howry has provided technical assistance to businesses throughout the state of Georgia and across the country. In addition to consulting, Mr. Howry is an instructor at the Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center. Through his work, Mr. Howry has been instrumental in abating serious workplace hazards to which workers were previously exposed and raised awareness to safety and health issues in the workplace. Mr. Howry’s focus areas include the development and implementation of safety and health management systems, human performance, and regulatory compliance. As a part of his work he has authored several technical guides and CD’s, presented at numerous conferences, seminars and courses. Mr. Howry has a B.S from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1992) and a MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2003).
