James Joseph Peta

Jim Peta is an adjunct faculty at UCONN and is a part time faculty member at the University of Hartford in the department of Economics, Finance and Insurance specializing in quantitative methods. Recently Served as Director of the Masters in Science of Business Analytics. He received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from the University of Hartford in 1969. He has taught as an Adjunct at the University of Hartford since 1973 before joining as a regular faculty member in 2008. He has taught at UCONN as an adjunct faculty in the MBA program since 2013. He has taught online in MBA programs Since 2009

Business Experience

Mr. Peta has over 40 years as a business manager in the industrial sector of business. He has held positions as Vice President of Production for Pioneer Steel Ball, Manager of Manufacturing Operations for Thomson Precision Ball and most recently as a Senior Product Manager and Site Manager for Danaher.
