Janko Stojanovic

He is the co-founder and CEO of Buildcon Inc., where he dedicates his time to developing and overseeing the company's construction and logistics products. He is passionate about product development and thrives on leading cross-functional teams and setting ambitious goals that are measured against clear KPIs.

Over the past six years of running Buildcon, he has gained diverse experiences in various areas such as user/client acquisition strategy, team management, design thinking, prototyping, creating customer/user journeys, product requirements estimation and backlog management, and marketing management. He enjoys being at the center of the product development cycle.

He started his journey in the construction tech field while still in college, where he worked on different database solutions used by construction companies. This experience motivated him to create his software company, Buildcon, which has resulted in an exciting and successful product.

As a CEO, he has achieved several notable accomplishments, including closing two fundraising rounds. The first one occurred in 2016 when 500 Startups and Seedcamp invested in their pre-seed round, and the second, a proper Seed round in 2017. They also participated in the 500 Startups accelerator (Batch 16), where they had access to some of the best mentors in the world who taught them how to scale their business and make Buildcon a successful company.

In addition to product management, he enjoys consulting on digital transformation and mentoring early-stage startups. If he had more time, he would like to engage in these activities more frequently.
