Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with almost 20 years of experience in semiconductor design, electronic system implementation, reliability and failure analysis. Ph.D in semiconductor failure analysis from NUS. AMD lead firmware engineer in Asia supporting client power and performance issues. Enjoy problem-solving and experimentation. Strong team-player, analytical, self-driven, and goal-oriented. Work well with teams from different geographical regions. Lived and worked for extended period in North America. Demonstrated capability in leading project from concept to production.
Experienced in resolving gating issues and leading design debug that involve teams from different geographical locations. Advanced knowledge of x86, ARM and MIPS computer architectures. Proficient with real-time operating system (RTOS) and threaded designs. In my career, I have also dealt with algorithmic development and optimization, circuit design and simulation, digital functional verification, system debug and root-cause-analysis, reverse engineering, semiconductor failure analysis, MILSPEC and IPC industrial standards.
