After several years as a computer science trainer, graduated in computer science and in Management Research (DEA at the IAE in Poitiers), Jean-Claude Taddei holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Angers in 2009.
The themes selected for his thesis are collective strategies, territories and relational networks.
Recruited as a scholar in strategy, he also taught computer science and more recently project management. He regularly supervises students for their final thesis and conducts research methodology workshops.
In addition, he is responsible for the Wine Marketing module delivered on almost all ESSCA campus in France.
He is also responsible for the Sipride management simulation module and a management education module for elected officials in the wine sector.
As part of his research, he has organized several multidisciplinary symposiums on various themes (Jazz Territories, Wine Territory, Film Territory). Several books have been produced following his conferences. His research is mainly oriented towards collective strategies and territories.
In addition, he is a member of AIREPME, an international association of researchers on SMEs. Finally, he is a reviewer for several journals (RIPME, Géographie économique société, RERU).
He also exercises social responsibilities within ESSCA by being a staff and union representative, which allows him to negotiate with the Management Committee in a spirit of exchange and construction.
Jean-Claude Taddei is also a winegrower. This allows him to know this sector well and to carry out research on different themes (successions, wine tourism), in particular with the Ecole Supérieure d'Agriculture d'Angers.
