Jeff Huang

Jeff Huang is founder of AEX Holdings, Ltd. In 2017, Jeff was hired by the Chongqing Municipal Government as the Chief Advisor for the Chongqing Gas Exchange. From 2010 to 2016, Jeff was Managing Director for Greater China at Intercontinental Exchange. From 2005 to 2010, Jeff was VP for Asia at Chicago Climate Exchange and was involved in negotiation, creating and management of the Tianjin Climate Exchange with CNPC/PetroChina. Prior to that, Jeff had over 10 years of experience in cross-border M&A in the exchanges, futures commission merchants (FCM) and FinTech space. Jeff was a consultant for China Securities Regulatory Commission on projects related to derivatives clearing infrastructure. Jeff spoke and lectured at Council on Foreign Relations in New York, Woodrow Wilson Center in DC, Johns Hopkins University, University of Chicago, NYU, Peking University etc. on global emissions markets as well as on China futures market development. Jeff has been a columnist at Caixin. Jeff received Master Degree at the Foreign Affairs College in Beijing.
