Academic Division: FinanceJeff has been a professional in the financial services industry for over 16 years. Currently, he is the Chief Investment Officer of Peak Financial Management, a boutique Registered Investment Advisor in Waltham, MA with over $320 million in assets under advisement. Jeff’s responsibilities include portfolio development, security research and valuation, and trading. Prior to Peak, Jeff worked at Wellesley Investment Partners, a subsidiary of Wellesley Bank, as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He oversaw the growth of this company from a start up to managing over $120 million in assets under management for individual clients, families, and foundations. His responsibilities included development and implementation of all model portfolios using quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Before that role, Jeff was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst with Beaumont Financial Partners, a billion dollar investment firm also located in Wellesley. At Beaumont, he was an integral member of the investment committee, an equity and fixed income analyst, and also managed the company’s mutual fund and ETF portfolios. His early career at Fidelity included roles as a retirement and investment consultant in both the institutional and retail space, advising and guiding clients in the selection of investment products to meet personalized objectives. Jeff is a CFA® Charterholder and received his Master’s Degree in Investment Management from Boston University. He resides in Hudson with his wife and three children.
