Jennifer Gershberg

Jennifer Gershberg teaches BMGT 380 (Business Law) and BUSI 764 (Business Law for Managers). She has also taught courses in Business Ethics & Society, Ethical Leadership and coordinated the Ethical Leadership course for the OMBA program. Professor Gershberg has a special interest in the relationship between law and ethics, particularly in the employment law context, and has co-authored and presented papers on constitutional challenges to public pension reforms. She serves on the Undergraduate Oversight Committee and University Honor Council and is a faculty advisor to the Business Law Society. She is a reviewer for the American Business Law Journal and Journal of Legal Studies Education and a member of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Professor Gershberg is a recipient of the Allen J. Krowe Award for Teaching Excellence and the Distinguished Teaching Award.

Before joining the Smith School faculty, Professor Gershberg taught Legal Research and Writing and Legal Rhetoric at a law school. She also practiced civil litigation at two prominent law firms, concentrating her practice in employment law, employment discrimination, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice defense.
