University of Cape Town
Professor Jennifer Roeleveld supervises Masters (MCom and LLM) and PhD students and is the Director of the Tax Unit for Fiscal Research. Previously she was the Head of Taxation in the FTX department. She is the President of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and its governing board. She is an associate member of the European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP). She is an author for the IBFD Global Tax Treaty Commentaries in respect of Articles 17 and 27 of the OECD model. She is also an author for Bloomberg BNA USA for which she received the annual portfolio author of the year award in 2019 in London. She is the SA contributor for the Observatory on taxpayers rights (IBFD) and also an author of Juta’s Income Tax in South Africa.

- International Taxation, Treaty Law, Tax Law, exchange of information and taxpayers rights, Deceased estates.
