Fordham University

Jessica Denzer is a writer and educator. She is a researcher in residence at the New York Public Library, where she has done extensive research for her first novel, Mythologies. Currently she is working on a second novel, and an untitled collection of personal essays that explore the idea of the feminine by examining ancient and classic works of literature and art through the contemporary lens. The first of those essays, "but all is to be dared," was published in Spring 2022 in L'Esprit Literary Review. She is an Assistant Fiction Editor at West Trade Review and Contributing Editor at L'Esprit Literary Review and Four Way Review. She received her MFA in fiction from Sarah Lawrence College, and her BA in English Literature from Fordham University. She currently teaches at Fordham University, Cooper Union, and Baruch College.
