Jill Abruzese Slye

Jill Slye teaches multiple courses and Professional Development Programs on Public Speaking, Professional Presenting, and Leadership Communication at Harvard University Extension School. Additionally, she teaches at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine offering the MMSc students a year long course on Leadership Communication. Her courses and programs attract diverse students and professionals from around the globe.

Jill owns her own coaching company and works with people from the various schools at Harvard University. Outside of Harvard, her clients include employees and executives from marketing firms, financial institutions, hospitals, technology companies, law firms, and non-profit organizations serving her clients, locally, nationally, and internationally. These tailored programs focus on techniques that improve public speaking skills and foster effective communication. Jill’s thirty years of business experience in sales, management, and marketing provides the basis for her understanding of her audience and enhances her ability to relate to her clients and students.

In 2020, Jill was awarded the Petra Shattuck Excellence in Teaching Award and published her book, “Reinvesting in your Rhetoric”, which serves as an executive summary of what she teaches and provides a takeaway for her clients and students.
