Jim A. Leitzel is the Director, Public Policy Studies in the College, at the University of Chicago.
Jim Leitzel teaches public policy and economics at the University of Chicago, where he is the Director of Public Policy Studies in the College. Jim’s research concerns vice policy, law and economics, and transition economics, and his books include Russian Economic Reform (Routledge, 1995), Regulating Vice (Cambridge University Press, 2008), and Law and Economics: A Guide for the Curious (Oxford University Press, 2015).
He is also founder and contributor to various blogs exploring public policy relating to alcohol, nicotine, drugs, prostitution, gambling, pornography, and other vices.
