Jim Stolze is the founder of Aigency, a platform for applied artificial intelligence located at Amsterdam Sciencepark.

After studying at VU University Amsterdam, Jim Stolze earned his MBA from the Lemniscaat Management School. A pioneer in the field of digital transformation, he was nominated in 2009 by TED.com as one of their twelve senior ambassadors worldwide. Jim played an instrumental role in dozens of TEDx events across Europe. In 2012 he moved to the Middle East to help set up an organization that fosters TED''s mission of ''ideas worth spreading''.

Back in Europe he went on to advise the European Commission on entrepreneurship and innovation. With his platform Aigency, Jim Stolze supports the democratization of AI, enabling talented PHD students to test, demonstrate and sell their algorithms as-a-service to large corporations and NGO''s.

Jim Stolze acts as faculty chair at SingularityU the Netherlands and has hosted the SingularityU Summit in Amsterdam twice.
