Biography
Jin Choi is an associate professor of economics who teaches courses in money and banking, managerial economics and applied quantitative analysis.
Choi's research interests include financial economics, wealth building and derivatives trading. His work has been published in the Journal of Economic Asymmetries, the International Journal of Applied Economics and Econometrics, and the Journal of Futures Markets. He has published four books on financial crises, business statistics and personal wealth building, and has edited two books on financial crises and its global impacts.
Choi is an associate editor of the Journal of Economic Asymmetries and is active in various academic and professional associations. He worked at the Chicago Board of Trade as an economist, served as president of the Illinois Economics Association and was a member of the board of directors for a Chicago-area community bank.
