Dr. Joanna Golden is an associate professor at the Crews School of Accountancy (CSOA). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Macquarie University, a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Golden's research examines the impact of management behaviors on corporate and accounting decisions. Her research has been published in academic journals, such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, and Management Accounting Research.

Prior to her academic career, Dr. Golden gained professional experience working as an external auditor at KPMG in Detroit, MI, and as an internal auditor at TriMas Corporation in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Her teaching interests primarily revolve around auditing and financial accounting.
