Joe LiVigni

Joe LiVigni is the Director Training & Development at Capsim Management Simulations, a leader in creating business simulations for use in the educational and corporate training sectors. He has over 20 years’ experience in corporate settings. Joe has held training, sales, and management roles including 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry with organizations such as Actelion, Wyeth, PamLabs, He has also worked in the education and nonprofit industries.

Joe has been a lead facilitator of Capsim Business Simulations since 2013 and has taught at organizations such as Merck KGaA, BP, GE, DigitalGlobe, Gore Medical, Universal Orlando, Regions Financial, and Purchasing Power. He has designed and developed tailored training programs for the aforementioned organizations as well as Grant Thornton, Cummins Mid-South, Nitto Americas, and several others. Within the academic setting he has worked with Harvard Business School, Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and EDHEC Business School on custom programs for Exec Ed and MBA levels. Joe is also a staff instructor at DePaul University teaching a class focusing on Strategic Management. In 2015, he received his Masters of Science in Training and Development from the University of St Francis where he also earned his BS in Marketing. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Science from Michigan State University in Management, Leadership, and Strategy. Joe is also a certified MBTI and Hogan Practitioner.
