Johanne Grosvold

Research interests

My main research interests are in corporate governance, CSR and institutional theory. A key area of expertise is the representation of women on corporate boards. I have conducted extensive research into the prevalence of women corporate board directors and the impact of national, industry and firm level determinants in engendering demographically diverse corporate boards of directors. I am currently involved in research relating to corporate boards and shareholder activism, the prevalence of policy-practice decoupling as regards women on the board, and the role of organisational ambidexterity and environmental management.
