Biography
The Rev. John T. Farrell, Ph.D. is a priest in the Episcopal Church. Throughout his career he has served as a university professor and chaplain in the United States Merchant Marine. He is a trained labyrinth walk facilitator and an expert in parliamentary procedure and canon law. He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Yale University and a Doctor of Philosophy in English from the University of Delaware. In 2008, Dr. Farrell served as a Professional-in-Residence at the Betty Ford Center.
He is the author of numerous articles, poetry, reviews and five books, most notably Guide Me In My Recovery: Prayers for Times of Joy and Times of Trial and Sought Through Prayer and Meditation: A Practical Guide for People in Recovery.
