Biography:
John Flanagan is a marketing and sales professional with over 20 years'' experience in Japan. Career highlights include launching J:COM, running marketing operations at 20th Century Fox, the iTunes division of Apple, Dyson and the fashion category for Amazon. Currently he is General Manager for The History Channel® Japan Corp. (THCJ), a joint venture between A+E Networks and Super-Network, Inc. He graduated Colorado College with a BA in Political Economy, which included one year''s study at Waseda University in Tokyo. Mr. Flanagan later attended INSEAD, graduating from the business school''s International Executive Program.
Faculty Message:
"A strong grasp of marketing concepts and theory acts as the sounding board for any marketer as they build strategies to grow their business and launch campaigns. However, one also needs an understanding what happens in the real world.
In addition to advancing student knowledge of marketing, I hope to provide that reality check for class participants."
