Prof. John D. Fuller is an Assistant Professor in economics, finance, and strategy within the School of Business. Prof. Fuller also serves as Chair, Graduate Business Programs and Program Director, MBA.

Prof. Fuller holds a BBA degree in marketing and economics from Hofstra University, Long Island, NY; an MBA in Finance from the Harvard Business School, Boston, MA and is currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration. His research interests include accounting and financial reporting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions valuation and performance.

Professor Fuller began his financial services career with Chase Manhattan Bank in 1981, as vice president of new business development. Upon graduation from Harvard Business School in 1986, Prof. Fuller joined PaineWebber Inc. earning Vice-President responsibilities of underwriting and financing of housing and healthcare revenue bonds. Prof. Fuller joined Citigroup’s Smith Barney division in 1997 serving as a Financial Advisor to high-net-worth investors, mid-sized businesses, not-for-profit institutions and family trusts and estates. He is a member of both the Western Finance Association and the American Finance Association, the nation’s premier financial research associations. He is licensed under FINRA/NASD Series 7, 63 and 65, professional and educational certification examinations, as a General Securities Registered Representative.

During his nearly 20-year tenure at Mercy College, initially as an adjunct instructor; Prof. Fuller has offered his service and has contributed mightily to the School of Business and to the entire Mercy College. Professor Fuller has a lifelong belief in “lifting, while climbing,” and has acted on those beliefs.
