Nanyang Technological University
Dr John Keung is the Dean, BCA Academy and concurrently Chairman of the BCA Centre of Sustainable Buildings, a centre established in collaboration with UNEP. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority and held senior management positions and board memberships in various public agencies and research institutes.
Dr Keung was named one of the Top 25 Newsmakers of the Year 2013 by Engineering News-Record (ENR) and the first Southeast Asian to be conferred the Chairman’s Award by the World Green Building Council in 2015. He received the Green Visionary Award from the Singapore Green Building Council in 2017 for pioneering the green building movement in Singapore.
Dr Keung obtained his PhD from the University of Wales, UK and holds Adjunct Professorships in both the National University of Singapore and the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
