Jon Gill

Jon specialises in private equity, venture capital and M&A transactions, and leads TLT's private equity team.

Jon has extensive M&A experience acting for international corporates on both acquisitions and strategic disposals. He also spent six months on secondment to Barclays Ventures, the private equity division of Barclays Bank, and has acted for the majority of the UK's mid-market private equity houses on new investments and portfolio company sales.

He has acted for the majority of the UK's mid-market private equity houses on new investments, bolt-on acquisitions, restructurings and portfolio company realisations. Jon also frequently acts for management teams on PE transactions, examples being on the buy-outs of HSS Hire by Exponent, Watkins Hire by Baird Capital and most recently Vital Ingredient by LDC.

With a keen interest in advising both entrepreneurs and investors in early stage businesses, Jon sits on the Technical Committee of the UK Business Angels Association.
