Thunderbird School of Global Management
Jonas Gamso is an assistant professor of International Trade and Global Studies in the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, where he teaches classes and conduct research related to global political economy, international development, and research methods. Before coming to ASU/Thunderbird, he completed his doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
Gamso's primary research focus is on trade between developing countries, and the impacts of this sort of trade for sustainable development. He also conduct studies on the relationships between foreign aid and international migration.
Gamo's research has been published in International Studies Quarterly, World Development, Policy Sciences, Latin American Perspectives, Journal of International Relations and Development, Journal of Environment & Development, and Environmental Policy and Governance.
