Jonathan Finger

Jonathan S. Finger is a partner in Finger Interests, Ltd., a private investment partnership based in Houston, TX. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investments as well as day-to-day operations. Jonathan’s background includes over 20 years of business experience in commercial banking, investment banking, fiduciary and investment management services, insurance and principal investing. The majority of his career has been in investment management and fiduciary services both on behalf of clients and affiliated entities. As a partner in Finger Interests, Ltd., he is responsible for the asset allocation and investment management of partnership assets. Prior to joining Finger Interests, Ltd. in 1997, Mr. Finger was Senior Vice President of Investment Management and Trust Services at Charter National Bank from 1990 to 1997. In addition, Mr. Finger was responsible for International Banking, Retail Brokerage Services, Investor Relations and Venture Capital at Charter during that period. Prior to joining Charter, Mr. Finger worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert in New York as an associate in the Merger and Acquisitions Department and an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to working at Drexel Burnham, he worked at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb in the Equity Research Department. He received a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies / International Banking & Finance from the University of Virginia in 1982 and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
His non-profit experience includes involvement on the Board or other activities at Communities In Schools, Sheltering Arms, Congregation Beth Israel, Texas Children’s Hospital, The Children’s Museum, the Rice Alliance and the Alley Theatre.
