Biography
Since joining CCSR as a PhD student researching changes in men and women''s labour market participation by family status using the Labour Force Survey from 1975 - 1996, Jo has worked in a number of projects relating to secondary data enhancement, support and use. She has particular interests in government surveys, census microdata, learning and training.
These include:

Additionally she has been involved in delivery secondary analysis skills training to postgraduate students at Manchester as well as delivering a number of short courses in statistics software.
Her postgraduate education has been in social research methods, social statistics, sociology and information management.
