Biography Judy Wachtenheim is an instructor in the Department of Finance & Real Estate​ at the Driehaus College of Business.

Wachtenheim started her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Following that role, she worked at PaineWebber as an investment banker for various state and local housing finance agencies. At Merrill Lynch, Wachtenheim sold corporate and municipal bonds to institutional clients. She also worked in the risk management group setting trader position limits in the mortgage-backed securites, municipal and equity areas. Prior to joining DePaul, Wachtenheim was a relationship manager at Citi Private Bank. In that role, she provided customized wealth management strategies to high net worth families.
