Julia Borcherts

Teaching of writing workshops and professional development courses in the Department of Creative Writing. Responsible for curriculum design in conjunction with college and departmental learning outcomes for each course.

Julia Borcherts is the publicity manager for Kaye Publicity, a Chicago-based literary PR firm. She earned her M.F.A in Creative Writing and her M.A. in the Teaching of Writing from Columbia College Chicago. Before joining Kaye Publicity, she was a daily columnist for two Chicago Tribune publications and a frequent contributor to Time Out Chicago, Windy City Times and many other media outlets. She also serves as an adjunct professor in the Department of Creative Writing at Columbia College Chicago, in the English Department at DePaul University, and in the Masters in Written Communications program at National Louis University.
