Kacie Ingram

Background

Kacie Ingram is currently a manager of undergraduate career services in the Office of Career Management at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. Her background includes more than 10 years of retail management as well as entrepreneurial and teaching experience.

Before working in higher education, Ingram achieved success in the retail industry, where she held various leadership roles. In 2012, she started her own business, Complete Confidence, as a career coach and personal branding strategist. Since 2014, she has taught Business Careers in a Global Economy for sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Darla Moore School of Business. This is a cutting-edge career tools class that is a required course in the Moore School. Ingram also teaches University 101 for business majors. The course provides a general orientation to the functions and resources of the university.

Ingram earned a B.S. and a Masters in Retail from the University of South Carolina. She is passionate about personal and professional development and strives for continued growth through additional training opportunities. She completed the Coach Trainer Program through Coach Training Alliance and is a Certified Coach. Ingram is also a Certified Professional Résumé Writer through the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches.

Ingram thrives on helping others achieve their full potential through personal and professional development. She believes the classroom should be filled with dynamic training methods and topics led by an instructor who ensures students gain full understanding and the ability to execute content.

Ingram believes laughter to be the key to happiness and lives in a state of permanent grin, often brought on by spending time with her husband and two young sons. Passionate and direct, she devours sci-fi action movies, audiobooks and adrenaline-pumping activities.
