Biography

Sciences Po

Kalli Giannelos holds a PhD in social sciences (EHESS, Paris) and has an interdisciplinary background in moral and political philosophy, arts and social sciences. She is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (MA in Arts and Political Science), Paris-1 University (MRes in Philosophy) and Paris-Sorbonne University (MRes in Musicology).

She has worked in international cultural cooperation (ICOM, UNESCO), on the comparative analysis of innovation ecosystems at international level (MINES ParisTech), on responsible innovation in cultural and creative industries (C-Factor), and on innovation ethics and participatory democracy (Sciences Po). Her research focuses on innovation ethics, ethics of participatory practices, as well as media ethics.

She currently works on the project "Incentivizing Good Digital Governance" that she has co-designed along with Prof. Martial Foucault and Prof. Kevin Arceneaux, a project financed by the McCourt Institute.

She is co-author (with Prof. Bernard Reber and Prof. Neelke Doorn) of the book Responsive Ethics and Participation: Science, Technology and Democracy. London/New York: ISTE Ltd/John Wiley & Sons, 2022.

Since February 2021, she is an Associate Researcher at the CEVIPOF, and is also a lecturer in political theory at Sciences Po.
