Kanchana Padmanabhan

Kanchana Padmanabhan is the Director of Data Science at Kinaxis Inc and Lecturer in the Data Science Programs at Ryerson University. At Kinaxis, she leads the ML Applied Research team that focusses on R&D of machine learning solutions for enterprise supply chain problems. At Ryerson, she develops and teaches courses at the Yeates School of Graduate Studies and the Chang School of Continuing Education. She has developed multiple courses in the areas of Big Data Tools, Graph Mining, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization. She is also an advisor to students in Ryerson for their final research projects. Kanchana earned her PhD and MS in Computer Science from the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA and her B.Tech in Information Technology from the Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, India.
