Biography
DePaul University
I am currently employed by DePaul University as a part-time Professor in the University Internship Program (UIP), teaching both online and blended sections of the course entitled, "You, Your Work & the World" (UIP 250).
Lynne Copp hired me in August of 2010 after giving a presentation on "What Employers Want" to Lynne and six others. Lynne's feedback was "you were right on", and I knew DePaul and UIP were a good fit for me.
As a business professional with over 30 years of experience in every area of Human Resources, I take pride in my ability to provide each student with a real-life perspective on life outside of DePaul University. As a parent of 3 college-age students, a life-time resident of Chicago, an alumnus of DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and an ASK (Alumni Sharing Knowledge) Volunteer, I understand the social, academic and financial issues that students face in a large urban environment.
Now, as a Professor at DePaul, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my experiences with students.
