Karen is a Commercial Account Manager at RBC.
During her time at the Schulich School of Business, Karen was 1 of 5 women in Canada who was awarded the Heather L. Main Scholarship, which included a $25K award plus an opportunity to intern on RBC’s trading floor. Karen was heavily involved with the Schulich Community both inside and outside of the classroom. As the Director of Case Competitions on the Graduate Business Council, Karen planned and executed 4 Case Competitions for over 200 students. As a member of the External Case Team, Karen was a finalist in several prestigious case competitions – such as the National MBA Games, the Harvard International Case Competition, the Deliotte Strategy Case Competition and several others.
Prior to her time at Schulich, Karen graduated from the University of Toronto in 2015 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences and Geographic Information Systems. She worked at Scotiabank for a total of 7 years in a variety of roles across the organization.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and working out.
