Karl has been supporting the development and growth of leaders and their organizations for over 15 years. As Assistant Dean for Executive Education, he leads a group that matches the deep expertise of Carlson School departments, centers, and faculty with the needs of board directors, CEOs, and senior leaders across numerous industries, countries, and cultures. Prior to the Carlson School, Karl led similar efforts for 4 years at Notre Dame and 6 years at UC Berkeley. Work Karl led for a client in 2008 was reviewed and published as a case example of the most innovative work in executive education by UNICON, a consortium of over 80 business schools worldwide.
Karl teaches and leads advisory workshops focused on two main areas:
supporting the development of high potential leaders, engaging senior leadership teams to develop and align themselves and their organizations for success
