Biography
Hult International Business School
I am a tenured economist with experience in business consultancy. I also have over 23 years of experience in higher education, teaching and conducting research in macroeconomics, finance, and international trade. For the past six years I have led a research project focused on the trade and investment relationships between the U.S. and countries in the Middle East, using both Federal and state-level data. Prior to that I was involved in trade and development projects in the Caribbean and in Eastern Europe. I have experience on Capitol Hill, meeting with members of Congress from both parties as well as the Executive branch to discuss policy related issues. I have extensive operational achievements in managing cross-disciplinary teams, with a reputation for being a stabilizing influence when leading these teams. I am dynamic communicator accustomed to presenting data to a variety of audiences, including policy makers, business leaders, and the general public. I have experience collaborating partnerships both within the organization and with external partners.
