Biography

Kathryn Sowa is an instructor at the Driehaus College of Business. She is also the senior director of startups for Future Founders, a nonprofit organization that runs youth entrepreneurship accelerators. She oversees the strategy, development and operations of all collegiate-level programming.

Prior to Future Founders, Sowa worked as the director of operations to help revitalize and grow the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a collegiate entrepreneurship network with chapters on hundreds of university campuses across North America. Formerly, she managed the finances and established company-wide processes for a multi-million dollar electronic refurbishing startup. She was also previously a technology commercialization consultant for the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center.
