Katy Miller

Trainer at Impact Factory

Biography

Impact Factory

Katy Miller is a Senior Consultant, specialising in Communication Skills, Personal Impact, Assertiveness, Influencing, Line Management, and Leadership.

She brings a wealth of life experience to her work as a trainer. During the previous decade, she set up and ran a busy schedule of music classes across North London for Monkey Music, a prestigious national preschool music curriculum, training and managing her team, leading advertising and marketing initiatives, and relishing the creative opportunity to inspire a generation of children to love music.

For the decade before that, she worked as a professional actor, performing in repertory theatres all over the UK, with stints in London’s West End and at the National Theatre, and also producing and directing a number of small-scale productions, including for the Northlands Festival in Wick, Scotland.

Since joining Impact Factory in 2010, she has developed and diversified her skills working with people at all levels in a wide range of industries. She has designed and delivered tailored programmes for clients such as ING Bank, Facebook, European Space Agency, Department for Transport, UK Mission to the UN, Hachette UK, Rude Health, Liv-ex, Berkeley Homes, and BUPA.

Words often used to describe Katy are calm, intuitive, and a great listener. Her ability to adapt to any situation and communicate effectively brings with it insight and practical skills which she loves to share with delegates in the training room.
