Song Kee Hong is a practising educator. His cross-disciplinary focus is on creating Products, Services & Digital Interfaces with intuitive user experience. He brings over 2 decades of industry experience in both consulting and corporate design environments - with HP, Ziba, Hi-P and Design Exchange.

He has worked with some of the world's most notable organizations across diverse industries - from consumer electronics and FMCG to mission-critical domains in healthcare, industrial and security for government systems. His professional portfolio includes work for Apple, Changi Airport Group, Epson, HP, Intel, P&G, Sennheiser and WelchAllyn etc.

His work has received well over 20 design awards from around the world; including IDSA, iF, G-Mark, and the prestigious Red Dot Luminary Award.

As an educator, his focus is on creating an authentic learning experience that is aligned with market reality. He has initiated and led industry collaboration projects with Philips, Samsung, HP, DBS and also public sector organizations such as the Ministry of Manpower, Prime Minister's Office and Govtech.

Since joining DID in 2014, multiple student projects he supervised have been commercialized or won design awards including multiple Red Dot awards, multiple TISDC awards including 2 Golds, Singapore Design Awards (Platinum, Gold and Silver) and the James Dyson Awards with 2 National Winners.
