Kenan-Flagler Business School
Kevin Leibel is an advisor to the Student Teams Achieving Results (STAR), a hands-on learning program in which students learn by doing as they take on the roles of consultants to real companies.
He also is an advisor for Global Business Projects, another real-life learning course in which students from work with corporate executives to solve business challenges. He has worked with MBA teams on consulting assignments in the U.S., China and Brazil.
Mr. Leibel is president of Innovation Management LLC, a global strategy and insights consulting business. His work focuses on new products and service development, channel strategy and innovation management.
In particular he is interested in the challenges associated with portfolio selection decisions and strategic issues that emerge during the new product development process. His corporate clients are located throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
He began his career at Sara Lee Corporation working on the creation of hosiery and fashion textiles. He later joined RJR Nabisco and helped develop the industry’s first generic brand strategy. At Procter & Gamble, he led the development of new products for the Cover Girl cosmetics brand and a team responsible for business development in Europe and North America.
